2010 Award Winners
In 2010, over $16,000 was awarded to NDEA Active and Student members for undergraduate scholarships, graduate scholarships, and various projects to improve public education.
The NDEA Foundation Scholarships were awarded to Emily Hannasch, Southwest Minnesota State University; Jenna Skeldum, Jamestown College; and Molly Syvertson, UND.
The Oban Scholarship was awarded to Anne Charley, University of Mary.
The Foundation Grants were awarded to Glorianne Bradshaw and Kim Cull, Valley (Hoople-Crystal) Education Association; Kristine Middleton and Sheryl Mesrour, Grand Forks Education Association; and Joanne Ribeiro, Williston Education Association.
Anstrom Scholarships were awarded to Nadia Fronning, Wyndmere; Colleen Hodenfield, Minot; Andrea Noonan, West Fargo; Cory Volk, Garrison; and Joshua Wiest, Wishek.
A ESP Grant was awarded to Susan Wilson, Grand Forks ESP Association.
The Joseph A. Westby Leadership Award was presented to Kim Belgarde, Fargo.
