Foundation

Board of Directors

The NDEA Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the North Dakota Education Association to represent active members, retired members and the general public.  In addition, the three executive officers of the NDEA serve on the Board. 

Representing Active members are Audrey Haskell, a secretary in the Grand Forks school system and a past member of the NDEA Board of Directors where she represented Educational Support Professionals; Eileen Zgarlicke, a teacher in the alternative high school in Grand Forks and a previous winner of the Anstrom Scholarship; Amber Klebsch, a Wishek teaher; and Julie Feske, the first winner of the Westby Leadership Award and a teacher in the Fargo Public Schools.    

Gloria Lokken, immediate past-president of NDEA and a retired teacher from Minot, represents Retired members. Dan Hinnenkamp, a retired math teacher from Grand Forks, and Lee Fleischer, currently a retirement planning consultant with Horace Mann Insurance companies, and a member of the Mandan School Board, represent the public.  Hinnenkamp is the current president of the Foundation.  The NDEA Executive Officers are Dakota Draper, Mark Berntson, and Alicia Bata.
